I dont see why not mate, also you could run PAS sill, just fit an electric pump from a corsa or P106/Saxo

The other advantage of that place is less heat. But there is alot less room if I remember right :?
You'd be better to move the alternator to the other side and use a second alternator bracket or the block mount to mount the charger kind of like an a E46 supercharger kit winkeye
Been looking at that yesturday funnily enough. It would obviously be easier/better to move the alternator and mount the SC in place of that, but initially I wanted a relatively easy install, ie E36 pulleys, alternator, PAS pump, etc. Need to look at this further, as the intake to the SC would be directly under the exhaust if I mount it to the AC mounting points, also the routing of the pipework to get clean air into it would be pretty rude to say the least!

Moved mine the other day, quite easy and as it ended up it still uses the same belt as it would usualy so i cant see why you could'nt use either the E30 or the E36 belt set up if you mounted the E36 alternator under the manifold like me on the E30 mount ( same alternator just with different pully) you could then use the E36 alternator mount for the supercharger mount, thisis howi would do it if i decided to use a rotrex charger as the e36 mount would be realy easy to mount to and you could also use the built in tesioner to tesion the supercharger belt and use the alternator tesioner like it would normaly be used :D hope that all makes sence :D

Okeys, that makes sence mate, but the PAS, which type did you use on that spplication in the link as it looks like you have the Poly vee type fitted? E36 again? Would you also do a kit or send me drawings of the mounting plate and spacers for the new alternator mounting?

This would definately make things a little more easier. Also did you leave all the breather pipes under the inlet manifold standard?

I can send you a drawing and dimesions no probs, infact, i'll try and get it all posted up for others to and post it in this thread.

The front crank arange ment on mine goes E30 trigger wheel and V-belt drive ( alt,w/pump), E36 trigger with flat belt (machined the trigger wheel off so its the same size as the next E30 pully ( PAS and air con IIIRC) and then a E36 PAS pully which drives the a E30 PAS pump with an E36 pully on it with a small spacer behind it.

I thought it was alot to ask one belt to run every thing when the S/C ( in my case is taking 30 odd bhp) and also the fact that it would be a very long belt that went round it all. so you ay start to get "bow stringing" of the belt and you will have less and less belt wrap round each pully :(

There is also now a second roller/tesioner on the underside as the belt run was too long and was "bow stringning" :(
