fitted the m3 rack and link
fitted the front bar

the car is slowly getting back togather. i am happy

Colour's OK. Not far off the original colour, if they were cadmium plated.

Yeah man Def the best city in Australia. Got caught on the trams and didnt pay the fine so no doubt that will be a nice present waiting for me at the airport lol. Got right into the free pub poker nights, and the AFL. Where abouts in Melbourne are you?

some updates for today:

after 3 bad days i finsihed the front susspension, one of the cross memeber bolts snaped inside the chassis rail. took me 4 hours to get it out

anyway i cleaned and painted, fitted the control arm bushes, rebuild and painted the calipers, changed sway bar bushes and links.

here is a few pics, hope u guys like the gold

more things happening, just a quick question, any one used m52 valve cover on m50

i have a spare one and i m thinking to use it insted of having all the trobble of painting the m50. i just cant be bothered doing it, too tiered

and its christmas holiday

It will physically fit but you will have to f*ck about to get the plug coil wiring through and possibly the breather hoses.

Easiest way is to drop your M50 cover at your local powder coaters and have it blasted, dipped and coated

finaly i manged today to smoke one headlight. its bosch non smily i had it for spare. now i just have to find another one the same for the other side

Yea looking good mate...

You should consider getting an american M3 valve cover sent over.. Yes it would make you a tart but it'd say MPower... LOL Bling.

Yes I know (however sometimes I must excuse that, ekhm... on physics I was kissing the girls

).
And as I'm going to use E32 750i master cylinder with bigger (25.4 mm) diameter of pistons it will be even more reduced. But I don't want to use hydraulic servo by all means (more weight, more complicated, more potential weak points).
