Has anyone here used one and if so what part of the exhaust was used.
I've got a Scorpion M3 exhaust which uses a home X-pipe, Scorpion isn't the best sounding(tone) exhaust and it's a bit loud TBH. The X-pipe helped make it a tad less noisey.
To use an M3 exhaust you need to have made an exhaust flange so you can weld it on to your chopped M30 down pipes, this means you can unbolt the M3 exhaust from the down pipes rather than having to take the down pipes off the manifolds.
Theres a technical drawing i've got for the flange which was kindley drawn up by a zoner so getting one made up at a local engineering firm shouldn't be a problem. You can also buy them ready done from the US but this will work out to be more expensive.
If you arn't bothered about the down pipes/exhaust being de-mountable then it could just be welded together.
The hangers of the M3 exhaust are a bit different but don't take much fafing about to sort out.
A 335 exhaust that i liked the sound of was when Toby Unna had straight through pipes to a E36 328 back box, PM Toby for info.
