A bit of an ambitious project(dreaming really) but i'd like a C/F rocker cover but would the C/F be OK with the highish temps ?

No probs with temp Andy heres one i made earlier (about a year ago) its still perfect and it has been clear laquered and is showing no signs of dulling at all. Just make sure you use good quality resin. once i have finished moving and get the alpina back i will post some photos of my rocker cover which i have wrapped in carbon

Can do Stainless no probs, just gotta hook up with a mate of mine at some point for lessons in welding Ali.

Gonna have to be sooner rather than later too as I need to make my charge cooler pretty soon!
what are you after Turbobrown i'm itching to make something structural from the black stuff. When combined with a core material you cannot believe the strength of this stuff and light aswell

Cool, thanks again for the info, i'm best off trying to make some smallish bits and take it from there.

Sorry i couldn't find the link for your C/F supplier, could you post the link please ?

Sure you could knock up some Strut Braces BigKev, you'd have no probs selling them!

So could you make something like a simple plenum out of CF? Would need to be a box sculpted to fit over an M20 rocker cover with six outlet stubs and bellmouths on the inside :)
