They can be quite hard for a road car, blip the throttle on the S50 and you can feel the car rock slightly. Having said that though, they are still worth it in my opinion, its not like I want it to drive like an E38 is it
We all know Dan is a total softie if we look at all the things on his car...
DM flywheel,
wanting softer mounts,
wanting to go even lower with his diff ratio even though he has a 6 speed box.
Next he'll be saying the B8s are really alittle too hardcore for his liking
Can you pm or e-mail your details for sending on those monies for the bits too Dan as I deleted the last one by accident.

M42 rightness above 6500rpm, nobody can hear you scream
I was going to say air-con but thought I'd leave that one go... but now that you mention it
I must admit, I quite like my cruise control though
so to re-cap...
M5 square mounts are a waste of time and are only fooling yourself if you think they are strong just because "there's metal in them!"
M5 rubber mounts for M52s and even S50 baiting M50s for spirited driving if your a big softie and partial to your refinement.
AKG mounts if you have the spare funds for M5x and almost essential for S50s.
Hocky pucks or solid mounts if you want to be hard-core, cheapskate or trying to say your a tough
