my input is m52 with m50 inlet manifold and decent exhuast, flash map job done for 220bhp. 230bhp will require a BBTB and a good re map, any more you'll need cams and that where it starts getting expensive
that seems to be the ideal upgrade!

now the nitty grtty of cost?!
well the engine owes me nothing, yep totaly free. bought a donor car, flogged the bits of and got my engine

the extras are what cost me some money, but not too much money either.

if you want a detailed break down pm me

263bhp as it stands but 330bhp and 300lbft is easy to get with another couple of hundred spent.
who wears the trousers in your house?
Why would his other half "kick off" when the only Cosworth part was hidden under the bonnet?
cos her old man died in a escort cosworth and she wont have anyone else drive ti! she goes spare when she sees a whale tale!
+ the turbo might give it away!

i presume it is a YB out of an escort? with the turbo?

M52B28
So ideally i would want that engine! 192bhp
im sure with some breathing mods it can be over the 200bhp mark or am i really wrong?
typical irrational woman blaming the car rather than the drivers.
mine is a yb from a sierra and the cheapest way to see near 400bhp youll get. for another £600 and it will push 370bhp on the turbo currently fitted.

i doint need anywhere near that i just would like 250ish so around that marks great im ideally after 200-250, so the idea of 400 is just A terrifying and B Way to much power for my needs!

i want to have a little play with scoobys and 186BHP per ton would do me fine!

ie car weight 1070KGS
car BHP 250
bhp/ton 186

i also want to keep it reliable etc

cheers for the offer tho might have a friend intrested! u got any pics??

you always start out with modest aims but you soon get the power bug and want more. mine weighed 1320kg's and would beat imprezzas and many others away from the lights. couldnt match an evo off the mark though. i didnt start realing him in until we were up to high motorway speeds. winkeye
some pics of mine.....

1320kg, that's quite hefty for a 4 pot, did you have a large stereo etc in there too? Aircon, lekky toys etc too?
Mine is 1400kg, but that's with a M30 and a bloody heavy LPG tank. both LPG and petrol tanks over half full too.
didn;t have a heavy m-tech kit weighing it down though winkeye :)
