Ive got a pair similar to those, the bore looks larger than an M52 manifold, will check it out when I get chance.
I like the idea of the M20 Hottuning manifold as it would mate up to an E30 system, looks the dogs and be a bit of an engine mod

bravo old boy, i like it! my fear is mr mot man. i read this months PPC mag and Charlie with his monster car was not able to get through an mot with a welded section in the steering mech.

you could say it made him angry as welding makes 2 bits of metal 1 but the mot peopel say its a no no.

might make something and keep teh standard stuff for mot time?

Right made a bit more progress with the flanges.Well I say I have when infact Benjy actually did most of the work :P
Ill let the pics do the talking but basically each set of 3 plates were bolted together and slots sliced across all 3,filled with weld then ground back with a flapwheel.
Test fitted on the head and they are perfect fit,no overlapping of the gasket etc!

looking well good. so when are you planning to hook it up to the m20 mani? are you going to weld it yourself or get someone else to do it?

M20 engine and autobox will be out this weekend and hopefully the M50 engine and manual box will be in place by Sunday so early next week will see some more progress.
I cant weld myself so Benjy will be having a dabble at it.

As for the steering coupling....
Maybe it was just the tester that did it but he inspected it well and obviously found no problem with it.
