Leisurely(yeah right ) drive round Somerset then all down to Fritz for rolling road session

Give it a couple of weeks till im up and running and we can get something organised.
Hopefully the weather may improve then too

Looks like an excellent install Tony. Am just getting the mot work sorted on my touring, then will have to call round one evening when the weathers better. Think i can here my touring calling for a modern engine like yours!

Hi Tony, not had the bonnet up on the 318 for a long time! Been away for a few weeks, then doing mot work / changing front wings and valence etc on the touring. Consider the screen yours Tony, you can get it whenever you want if you can replace it with a standard screen.

Chris ill have to pop over when the car is MOTed and swap screens.Only takes 10 mins per car to swap them so by the time the kettle has boiled we`ll be ready to be done

Finally got to give it a test drive down the road tonight
Dew teething problems to sort out,small oil leak that looks like its coming from the oil filter housing somewhere,water leak from the thermo housing and a clunk from the front end as its pulling away.
All will be sorted this weekend though ready for MOT next week.
Pulls well and sounds sweet,cant wait till its road legal

Andy,forgot to check the MAF numbers but did PM Dan and he said yours is compatable with mine regardless of year difference.
Airbox-started modding it to fit which it does just fine.Problem is the inlet pipe is to long so pushes the MAF to far towards the front of the car.Gave up at that point and chucked that cone thing on,just wanted a go of it

Um.. Yeah.. It is quick, with a nice mid range, and very good on fuel (well anything is compared to the e32..)
