Now I could be wrong and he might have meant to send me the picture for some other reason but I can't check now as he logged off. To me, that looks like a 6-pot, not like an M42... I do hope he's not gone and bought the wrong engine
who's using your photobucket pictures then?![]()
Or have you sold the engine?

I think I have genuinely had it with this thing now, I just can't be arsed anymore.
Another day wasted really, faffing about fighting myself and the car. Thing is, I can't even be arsed to strip the thing to frag it.

I've just finished my M50, finally put it on the road last friday: You MUST MUST MUST finish it!
It is totally worth every minute spent on it.

lol Daf, there's been quite a few minutes done to this one, most of them making cups of tea, arse scratching and wondering how easy the windows would go through with the wheel brace

Oh I know all about the wheel brace temptation....... just go get that cup of tea instead!
When you do finish it though one word of advice based on my experience - dont take it for your first drive in the snow, it's a very bad idea!!

no chance of snow being about when this is finished, although that would take us through to next winter, so it can't be ruled out

Shall we arrange a trip up to York?
Get as many zoners as possible to go and work on it and get it all done in a couple of hours?

I felt really ashamed that I'd taken so long with mine. (About a month.) This makes me happy.
Lee, organise bacon butties and tea on tap, make sure you've got everything needed and call a regioal meet at your gaff. - Will be finished in hours!

hehe, yeah I'm a big girl and I've thrown my toys out the pram with this adventure a few times.
I'm getting hold of a few bits & bobs I need and then I'll put out a mayday call for a work party and see if we can come up with a few dates where folk would be happy to help.
Rest assured, anyone who is willing to give up their time to help will be substantially fed & watered and any favours reciprocated wherever possible.
Thanks guys
