Well we got there at 12 on sunday and it rained all day!
Nothing else to do but unload and start drinking.Stopped raining about 7 ish.Got a few photos when the sun was going down.

Monday morning woke up at 8am and it was still raining but it stopped around 10am so i went for my first ever run.Nervous i was,and it was still a bit damp and grim.Heres my first run on youtube.I wheel span most of the way !
Heres a pic as i was just doing another burnout :

And my run :

Was a good day.My first run where i wheel span most the way was 14.1.
My quickest run i managed a 13.6. I think if i soften the rear suspension, and on a warmer day i may get a bit faster.
I also met a zoner on monday, user name Orr.Was great to meet you and your missus mate, get your car along next time
a few more pics :

Shame the zone makes the pics so small ,cant really see them that well.
cheers,
andy

Skip wrote:105mph - theres a 12 in there somewhere then! ;) What were your 60 foot times like? I assume with that amount of wheelspin you were in the 2.5 second area?
Car looks sooooo hard too!
well done ! yes 60 ft times were poor ,average was 2.3.

Mate that is well impressive! A friend of mine takes his MK Indy there on a fairly regular basis as he is local.
That thing has got a Honda Blackbird engine with 100hp NOS jets I do beleive! It only weighs 400 odd kgs and he was struggling to get below 12 seconds, so your E30 is a truly rapid machine!
Excellent!!!!

Good to meet you Buster, you have done a top job on your engine conversion, the car looks great, real proffessional
. You did a good job for your first time, i would have stalled it on the line. you would have gone a lot faster with a bit more grip. Have to get a few zoners together one day and go and have a burn-up.
.
By the way i have got my missus to write this as you have probably guessed.

Hi James, should have came over mate.I think it was busier than normal because i run in sportsman et, and qualifying and eliminations were all crammed in at the last minute on monday because of the rain on sunday. The first 3 runs i did as rwyb.
Would be great to get some zoners together there, especially rwyb

Andy, car looks superb, 2nd photo looks almost M3ish. Its sitting perfectly in my opinion.
Times on the strip are impressive, always though that 0-100 would be pretty damn quick in these as the speedo spins round very quick when you give it shit!
I'd love to attend events like this but all you buggers are too far south !
So did you whip the Camaro?
