May get a couple of jobs done on the old turd on Sunday, depending on how often it pisses down, grrr.
Went on a brief scrap yard troll today, there's 4 E30's in my local yard at the moment, one of them a bronzit chromie 320i. I relieved a facelift moredoor of it's non-sunroof overhead black panel & sun visors and OEM electric ariel & wipes from the glovebox. Got a m20 starter motor for Dezzy and a PAS pipe to help finish the E36 rack swap.
Was going to rape some clios for their servos as there's loads of the horrid turds there, but the ones I haven't had the servo away from already still have their engines in and that doesn't look like much fun.
What's the deal with rear calipers from an E34 540i manual? noticed one there (engine & box obviously gone) Has one front caliper on and both rear.

I am pretty sure Dan used them with redriled E46 discs on the rear of his mate. Get him pm'd. You may be going back up the yard today.
Thanks for the SM.

Those 540i rear calipers are facked Lee, rusty as old arseholes and both bleed nipples sheared off.
That Bronzit 320i has been well raped has it not! May need a non PAS rack - have you got the original from the 316 and is it any good?

Already served the manual rack Andy.
Those 540 calipers did look pretty rusty. Dan, do you still want me to bother next time I'm there?
That bronzit 320 chromie looked like it was a nice car, rear arches starting to look fruity, but the driver wing was OK and the doors look tidy

Collected a scorpion M3 system tonight, reckon she's gonna howl a bit, the 50mm pipes should help it breathe better than the stock system I hope.
The DTM wrongness will be getting dealt with though

I asked Ollie if he would do me a quick photoshop lash up of what the mims would look like with the centres on gold, as it is something I had been considering because the wheels need a tidy up any way.
Not sure I like it really and think I'll stick with silver.

Its going to sound gorgeous with the m3 system
I dont particularly like the gold and silver rims... reminds me of subarus tbh! If you really want to change it why not go for a nogaro centres (not exactly an original idea but if it looks good who gives a shit!)

There is only one sticker aloud you know that.
The whole JPS thing was something that was going through my mind when I thought about the gold alloys

It's a scorpion E30 M3 system, I measured the bores of the pipes and they are 50mm. It has some nasty DTM pipes on it, which will be getting the good news.

Cheers mate
I cranked mine over today, mainly just to check the wiring was OK. Couldn't hear the fuel pump prime at all which I thought I would as the tank is bone dry. Are there any extra fuses or relays I should be adding to the fuse box with this car having been a non-injection car?
