im surprised to see how much room is in the engine bay with the v8 in there - I take my hat off to you sir!

I think it's because most people see straight 6s in the bay where as there 2 cylinders longer which fills the front of the bay up more
where as alright these cylinders are huge @ 4 inch diameter each lol it's only 4 cylinders long so you have so much more room the e30 engine bay is actually quite big for a smallish type saloon car

my pistons should be here next week can't wait that means I can start building it :)

nooo thats just our own work its a unit on a farm that literally 100 yards from my house my brother and my dad and 2 other guys all have cars in there just a hobby thing theres all old fords in there there 100e 105e 2 mk1 cortina estates a corsair a mk1 2 door lotus cortina and a normal 2 dorr mk 1 cortina o there is a mk 2 1600e about aswell lol just got rid of a mk 1 escort too

im actually a delivery driver lol but my trade is engineering cnc etc

there not mine most of them are my dads and brothers and one of the other guys i mean there not all finished some of them are just rolling shells and 2 of them are on spits the mk2 is a runner the rest are being restored o there a old ford pop in there too forgot about that one lol

that mk2 has a pretty hot motor in it, it's a 1750 xflow big cam 45s on it too burton built

it's its pretty nippy off the line :)

had a quote today to bore the block and balence the rotating assembly crank etc, clean the block and fit cam bearing to my shock it came out near 850 pound :eek:

Speak to Russell at cylinder head engineering. Very helpful and always up for a deal he built a few race engines for me years ago and is very knowledgable

go back and have a quick look at page 2 craig ive got large case e28 m5 diff going in it and making a twin ear rear hanger etc keeping my shafts and basicall just weld in reinforcements
