Well after taking the day off work today I actually feel like I've made some progress.
The day started OK with an easy job of fitting my new front Racing Dynamics ARB. Then the fun started with the rear end, as shown in the pics on the previous page, over 3 hours of hammering & chisel action eventually saw the remains of the nearside rear subframe bush part company with the car.
So it was time to start getting this lot in
Space was really at a premium as usually when you have the back end of the car in the air, you put the axle stands under the rear subframe, but where do you jack the car and what do you stand it on when there's no rear end?
Had to make do with some spare wheels under the fuel tank/rear footwells. This meant that replacing some rear brake pipes was an experience I do not want to repeat with the car so low that the spare wheel well was almost touching my beer pod.
Made up some rear pipes and got those bolted in before offering up the rear subframe.

Used my pov spec trolley jack and after being a smart fker with the alignment it lifted into place spot on

Something of a milestone this boys, this shizzle ain't had a rear end on it for over 8 months

Springs & dampers will be getting replaced in due course.
and so it is, finally with a rear subframe and trailing arms back on.
Damn hard slog on your own.
Save for the arse ache of lifting the diff into place, I reckon the hard work is done now boys n girls
