E30 linkages are no good, im pretty sure any E36 6 pot shifting linkages will work mate

Have never seen a seperate piece of aircon bracketry though, post a pic of the compressor

That air con compressor bracket doubles up as the exhaust emmisions air pump bracket i believe.

If so, then its on ETK/EPC/RealOEM in section 11 (Engine) page 1323
BMW part number 11.72.1.402.236

Where are you in Bristol, i may have a bracket on an S50 that i was using.

Cheers :D

Hi Tom, wondered if it was you lol.

Yeah ditch the emmissions pump, but if your keeping aircon then you'll need the bracket. If your getting rid of aircon then chuck the whole thing and have an empty drivers side of the block.

See you soon i'm sure.

Tom,

I'm 99% sure you don't need that bracket if you bin the air pump. I certainly don't have it on my car (aircon fitted).

I think it may be this one:

Ian.
If it aint broke - Modify it...

That's the puppy Ian.

I've had a look and i think if i shorten the bolts that bolt through this bracket and the aircon compressor there will be no need for it....

Thanks again for your help :D

Actually, the lever itself would be useful if there is enough room above the prop for the extra throw

I had wondered if i could use the lever......

Sheps said he fitted one in this thread

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... ic&t=72935

Do you think I should just buy the rest and try my lever with that?

Any idea how my lever would compare to the Z3 1.9 one??
