Anyone know anymore about this... it was done to mine but dont know how or what...

As far as im aware it just opens the flap up a bit (hehe..i said open up flap) anyway..yea opens flap up to let more Air in on idle to compensate for the bigger injectors...what happens if i open it up more? cut out? high revs? my plugs were fekin awfall when i checked em and that was only after 30 miles.all like this one is:

I know its the price you pay till i get MS setup and lose that dam AFM but this can tbe good..at all! 30 miles!?

ive got the same problem with mine right now.

i had the emissions checked at an MOT station and all was fine apart from one. (cant remember now) but the screw thats located on the inlet was hard to get to so we didnt bother to mess with it just incase.

Does yor exhaust make a 'pop' noise sometimes? Do you have an induction shit i mean kit?

I heard your only supposed to move the cogs 2 notches in the AFM.

the AFM affects nothing @ idle dude, the idle fuelling is on a look up table triggered by the TPS.

The AFM only covers approx 70% of throttle openings, ie all the part load stuff from 2K- 6K without using WOT

By altering the sping all you'll do is alter the part load stuff

if its stinking rich at idle you can bleed in more air to compensate by opening the throttle plate using the stop screw, you must however make sure the TPS is setup correctly after ajustment dude.

if you open the throttle plate , the TPS will not make the idle contact to tell the moronic you're idling, so will fuel from the AFM...

so loosen the tps screws, move the TB plate , move the TPS to suit ( ie make sure its clicking @ idle ), test mixture, repeat until happy, then tighten the TPS screws back up in its new location.

Okay..dont wanna go in too deep here and end up giving myself anoter lil headache....sound seasy enough just wanna run it past yer..

If i undew like you say the TPS before i adjust the TB plste stop...guessing this is going to be minimal? the move the TPS untill i hear it click with the TB plate in its new postion...THEN tighten TPS where it is..hence giving me the click now when i move the Throttle marginaly...this right?

Also will this do the idle in as im not sure this was adjusted to best suit idle revs/huting etc? in the first place..

My car is overfueling right through the range then as well as idle here..? dont mind a bit but if its absolutly chucking the stuff out i got to be concerened here right?

thought the AFm ajustment was a crude way of making sure it gets the air it needs with the new injectors installed/Fi setup...In your experience ANT what do you think? MS is happening, you know that but i dont wanna do Dmg here...Over the pond guys are running thie setup happly though not going over 6psi but none of them seem to have any bad things to say with the motronic in that setup
