Hello everyone,
I'm looking to potentially start a complete e30 coupe project probably starting with a 316/318. I'm fine with bodywork and interior but the mechanics and wiring side of things is where I'm unsure.
What engine conversion would offer the best power/driveability to cost ratio?
Was thinkin maybe a v8 as I've had a 2.7 straight 6...
Any hints as to general cost or anyone thAt does them? I'm based in west London.
Thanks
new e30 project!

I would say the M52 if you are looking at cost/power/driveability
They are relatively easy to do thanks to the hard efforts of DanThe a zoner on here
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Yeah from what I've read that does seem like a popular choice but did fancy something abit beefier than a 2.8. I even though about an m70 5.0 but I dont know if that is realistic or not..? Or the s50/52 but they seem bit rarer and on the pricey side in comparison...
Thanks
Thanks
