E36 B3 3.0 or 3.2 Turbo?

Aren't these essentially an M52 but like an S52 with an iron block?

Thinking that if I can find one, would be a pretty good base for a turbo motor?

3.0 is a worked M50
3.2 is basically a US S52, cast iron M52 block with special Alpina parts.

If you want to turbo something then use a cheap engine IMO, something that can be replaced easily.

Has yours been sold yet?

Yeah went months ago mate.

Okay so I'm reading that a 3.0 one might aswell just use an M50, but if a 3.2 came along at the right price it would be worth using.

Not many get pulled from the cars.
M50 iron block with 84mm 2.8 crank = square engine = rev happy :D
