That is too cool, I like the way there is a picture of him on snow, as if he needs to go on snow to get that thing sideways

That is a decent power output but surely an M5 V8 would have been less trouble to fit and given the same power? Even an S52 3.2L with super or turbo charger? Maybe they can't handle the nitrous as well? I guess this is different but I think I have seen a V12 E30 before once, unless it is the same car.

Here in Latvia we have 2 e30s with v12. One of them is really nice but the other is so so. The secon one was for sale for approx 1200 pounds. But the quality of the job done was chabby

Yeah, but bigger engines (although they're both 5 litre in this case) give bigger graphs.
I.e. revvy N/A V8 vs. laaazy S/C'd V12...the V12 will have loads more 'stomp'.

those 5.6 V12's gave about 380bhp as standard so it must be pumping more than 420 odd horses?
just imagine the torque

I don't know if an E30 really needs that much more low down torque (5L V8 Vs S/C 5L V12)? It's not a heavy car and it might struggle to put it on the ground? It is great to have all that torque but if it is just wasted in wheelspin it mighn't be much quicker anyway. I guess if they can slide it around like that on snow it mustn't be too bad.

Increasing the tractability of the engine will increase the driveability too.
To tame the wheelspin you can lengthen the gears, because you've got all that torque you'll still get decent performance with the added bonus each gear 'lasts' longer through the rev range so you can make less changes and more progress.
Some how, I don't think they were concerned too much with such practicalities though...;)

Anyone ever heard a V12 with a nice exhaust? Hear it and you'll understand part of the reason people fit that thing in their E30 engine bay.
