how'dy all,
anyone have any info on fitting a rover v8 into an E30, i know it will be frounded apon but im on a budget and got the motor with 4 webers for nothing.

any help would be great, thanks.

A member on her called Dips has a Rover V8 engined E30, although it is far from standard. He'll be able to give you an idea of what parts were used such as gearbox etc and what else is involved

anybody any help with this, no word back from Dips,i understand he's a bizzy man,

no problem with get'n the engine in, its what gearbox and clutch assembly to use

any ideas ??

the rover v8's own gearbox would be the obvious choice (lt77)
it also has a hydraulic clutch aswell

Rover engine and box then having a prop made up would be the best idea I reckon.

sound lads, thanks for the info. my v8 came out of a rangerover , i have 2 T5's here but have them lined up for other projects,
wanted to use a bmw box to keep the hydro clutch,
