Moderator: martauto
I'm looking to turbo my 92 2.5cab but don't really know where to start, if anyones got any advice that would be great. Ideally I'd like to buy the parts and fit them myself if they are out there? I know alot of you guys have D.I.Y'd so please let me know if poss, cheers, Tom.

I would recommend a supercharger, its far easier to setup, more reliable and having seen one of A-techs Rotax kits in action i wouldnt even consider a turbo unless it was for drag racing.
On the low comp engines like yours you'll get 270hp with a kit that will take only a few hours to install and because of the progressive boost characteristics you wont have to mess about with mapping for days.

Look for posts by ANT - his contact details are in his sig. PMs are a waste of time, he's too busy to check them these days.

My advice is if you've got it, use it.
Chargers tend to be universal, so any good machine shop should be able to fabricate a bracket as long as you have dimentions or ask a specialist to make you one.Does anyone do off the shelf Eaton M45 (as used in Mini S) brackets for a E30 325i? I have a SC at home.
