make sure the bracket i gave you secures the filter (holds it still) maybe bolt it to the holes where the old air box mounted ? as if not it may split the rubber air hoses

Told you they sounded sweet did'nt i ya gotta love it !!!

glad it fits ok maybe you can add some ducting to the filter mate if ya want to

get a video up of you driving by so we can hear the noise

Im going to put the bracket on tomorrow but to be quite honest, it doesnt need it as its wedged in so tight!

I have got a bit of ducting underneath that was for my K&N, just got to adapt it slightly.

Ill try to get a vid up over the weekend.

Would be interested in what it sounds like...is it really loud?

I'm wanting a change from my K&N...too noisy on low revs...don't mind it when it's revved up though

out of the four tested on the r/r this one was by far the best sounding imo anyway

Its made for an E30 M40 (so the box says) but there are ways of making anything fit!

Apart from the Samco hosing, and i see that you may have used an old KnN mount, what else was needed to modify it

Tried this on an M50/52 hybrid recently.

with the bigger engine, rad and ABS fighting for space, it just would not fit without chopping

did well dude :thumb:

Where the hose goes into the filter, there should be a metal plate on the outside, I just had to move this to the inside of the filter housing (still holds it in place nicely) to give me about 6mm more space (yes it is that tight).
