Very nice, I saw this car at MFN as well,
As a tramp drifter should be, tie wraps holding everything together, very impressive,

nice driving mate, would love to do that.
what engine is that??? 325??

Cheers for the replies again peeps. Yeah it was standard m20b25 engine and box, welded diff, cut springs, spax rear shocks, e36 rack, slightly-stripped interior, drivers bucket seat, that's about it.
Now is waiting on gearbox delivery so I can finish off the m30b35 install, and gotta buy a few safety bits then it's Silverstone national circuit in March, if not then Teesside at round one of the BDC.
Hopefully your e30zone fathers can help out getting my car upto spec when they've sorted my car out with some promotion

The car, in that vid, owed me approximately £700 including MOT/tax/wheels/engine/suspension etc etc. Bearing in mind that's with approximately 3 or 4 sets of spare wheels.
Currently the car is set to stand me at just over £1k including roll cage, b35, and rosejointed rear end.
Drift days are between £60 - 180 including entry fee and average petrol bill. Most events are listed in the events section over on www.driftworks.com or www.trampdrift.com
Apparnetly the music is a bit marmitey haha, but I like it. Hopefully finishing off my m30 install and spray job over next couple of days, will be updated on my project thread on TrampDrift.

Cut springs aren't the problem, it's the standard dampers being super soft on the extension and crashing back down to the bumpstops lol. I have spax adjustables to go on, but they are with a friend to modify for some coilover springs at the moment so I'm waiting to get them back.
And as for it being boring - yeah it's only Santa Pod drifting around a coned course. I would much rather compile a better video but the good stuff wasn't filmed (ie trampdriftwest 1 and 2). "Tramp Drift" is just drifting but in poo cars. That was a drift "demo" which was free to do, so despite it being a basic and small course it was still fun.
