Purchased of 'Player6', i present my new toy....

325i Touring....
Image

Car is a little messy bodywise, but that will be rectified in due time...

in the meantime i wish to add a few goodies to it....

- Full Sports Leather interior
- Mtec 2 Kit

Car drives without missing a beat...must admit i'm loving it already....
i took my bro's cab to pick the car up...that took £50 petrol at 93.9p...

I put £10 in the 325i at £1/litre and £20 at 98.9p....the 325i got me back to derby, and i then drove to birmingham and back on the same fuel....

190 miles from £30...i'm loving this :D And considering i wasn't exactly driving economically...makes it even better! :D

As you can see i'm pretty pleased with the car...and once i've tidied it up a bit it should be looking even better!

Should be going in tomorrow for tints all round.

Will get better pics up ASAP.

Lovely car!

Personally don't think you should Tech-2 it, but that's just me.

probably going to be sold or stripped! :(

I just don't need 2 cars right now....and seen as i plan on buying a 325i cabby in a few months....need to get rid of that so i can make room for the cabby!

It doesn't owe me much, so i'm not too fussed...just got to wait for the plate to be transfered onto the touring, then off she goes! :D

I like it as it is, but the rear doesn't it low enough (i mean if you look at the car from the rear) and therefore i think it needs a tech2 rear bumper, and therefore i'd want the whole kit! :D

Agreed with that - some cars just look sooo much better without the tech2 kit.

I'll take that as a compliment.

who knows...it may not happen....

but the bodywork is really bad, and therefore i'm probably going to get it resprayed anyway, so figured may aswell whach a tech 2 kit on at the same time! :D

Lovely car, great colour. Best of luck with it. I wouldn't put a tech 2 kit on it either. The tourings look great with just the SE skirts and an IS lip, as it has both your laughing.

very nice, a big step up from the 316i, as said already - resist the temptation of a tech2 kit

It's such a big difference...never mind the 316...even the 318 (which runs seriously sweet) feels slo compared to it....and it showed on the drive back home....my mate was pushing the cabby to it's max and when i floored it i actually lost site of him in my rear view on a very long straight! :D

The cabby has it's place...but i think i'll be spending most of my time in this now... :D :D

Will be adding my 10,000K HID lights to it tomorrow aswell as pure White LED side-lights.

Need to give the car a proper Wash, Clay and then Buff the paint as the paint is really faded, and there are scratches down the doors.

Don't really show up in the pics but it does look quite tatty at the moment.

Car's interior also need a good clean, and the engine bay needs cleaning aswell....so much to do, and so little time!!!

Also thinking about fitting my 2 15" subs into this aswell now...should sound good in this winkeye

Hi M8, I like what you have done. I am thinking of getting a tourer.
Its looking good, how much did it cost for the tints to be done and is it legal at the front?

I've had every shape e30 now (4door 320i se, 316i coupe, 318i convertible and 325i touring), and i'd say my favorites are the convertible and the touring.

I had all the windows done and a sunstrip done for £200 which i think isn't bad.

Really the front windows must allow 70% light through, which is nearly a clear tint. The guy i got them done from is willing to do a light smoke on the front, but doesn't provide a receipt so he has no come-backs. But if there are any problems with the tint he will sort them out.

Fitted my 10,000K HID kit today...also gave the car a good clean polish and hoover.

Car is looking very aggresive, unfortunately was out all day so could only get 1 pic of the Xenons, and because it was still light, and my phone camera is shite the pic isn't great....will get some more pics up in due time.

Quite like this pic....

Image

Was taken on my phone so poor quality. :(

I'm loving the stance of the car though...taken some pics of it at night to try and show the HID's, but no good...it's really hard to picture HIDs. I'm going to try take some reflection pics of it as that's the only way i can think of showing what the HID's really look like. They seem to look green in some of the pics i've taken, and they definately aren't green!

Quick update....

Stripped all the ICE out of my red coupe, and fitted what i could into the touring...

It's still a bit messy, and not running anywhere near as loud as it can due to using the old power cable already installed in the car.

I didn't have time to strip the interior (which i would've needed to fit the power cable i use as it's so thick) so therefore instead of running a 120Amp fuse i'm currently running a 20Amp fuse :?

That said the sound in the touring is awesome, and has very little vibration aswell.

Also installed 3 tweeters (4th one decided to stop working for some reason???).

I also have 4 infinity speakers that will be going in as soon as i have another amp for the speakers.

Will be doing a complete strip down of the interior and fitting the install properly (before next Eid for those who know what it is), and i'm thinking about bridging my bro's amp upto mine and running all 4 15inch subs in the touring...think it'll sound even better than when i had them in my old Sunny!

Also changed the rear lights as the one's that were on there were all red, and people didn't know when i was reversing 8O

Anyway i've gone on long enough...so here are the pics...
