Hey. just wanted to share some small clips of my e30 turbo..

just started it 2 weeks ago. all that needs to be done now is.. complete the exhaust system (im only running with a downpipe now) and build the wastegate pipes.

enjoy

well it depends on how much power you want to get out.. but to build an "sneak" as we call them here i sweden doesent take much.. just build an manifold and the little bigger injectors and a intercooler.. then you can easiley boost it with 0.5bar (7.5psi) and get around 250hp (on a m20b25)

hehe sure.. i live in sweden stop by some time :P

thanks... the turbo is from a volvo truck its good for 750hp
i run a stock bottom so i will be happy if i get around 480whp "this year" next year i will get forged pistons and rods and up the boost a little bit and hopefully get around 550-600 in the wheels

the antilag function stopped working so i hade zero boost in the start..

but i guess if i use the antilag and little more boost. (1.5)bar i could run a 10sek..

that is atlest the goal for this year :)

hey of course.. i defenetlly think that you should put a turbo on that cab,
(edit. what engine do you run?)

it all depends on what kind a turbo setup you want... the setup that we call sneak here in sweden is a really basic one.. just build an collektor for the turbo and use an m535 airflowmeter (or as we call it LMM) and a little bit bigger injectors. put a intercooler on and you are almost ready to go..

the setup im using is a little bit more advanced. i have lower compression. and "o-ringed" engine block not sure is called the same in english but its a steal thread that you put around the cylinder "holes"

like this
Image

siemens deka injectors. 680cc
kkk29-turbo
all the engine parts are balanced and weight tested
custom made exhaust manifold
tial 38mm wg -- x2
50mm tial bov
badass intercooler
original intake manifold
arp head studs.
the head i pretty original (plans are to change the rockerarms, harder springs, titanium retainers, and race valves, and the fully port it)
with this setup i can rev it to 9500rpm

e34 525 gearbox
4-p sinter
sasch 618 pressure plate

all the interior is removed,
custom made fuelcell
bosch 044 fuel pump
10mm inlet fuel lines.

i guess that there is a lot of stuff that i forgott to write.

heres the engine.
