when you see in the metal it works really well,

chrome work on the bumpers, side trims and the wheels set it off. i've told hime to do some thing with the wing mirrors, e24 six series chrome ones would finish it off in my opinion

I agree. It looks to 'modern' for the rims. Perhaps with the roof down and and a little bit more bling elsewhere it will work better.
I cant really say owt- I was thinking about putting wirespokes on my CRX :o:

No mention of hydraulics.... so why's it on wires?

Putting wires on a normal car is like putting f1 wheels on a montego.

They look good, but they're on the wrong car.

imo.

thats not the point of hydraulics though... anything can be made to sit low, its making it sit low at the front, high at the back, or bouncing from side to side etc. Wires are sweet, I love wires, but wires need to be accompanied by the psssssshhh of a pump and a big fat three wheel...

imo.

I think the car looks stunning...

only thing i'm not sure about is what looks like lexus rear lights...if they're not, then fine, but if they are, then they definately wouldn't fit in with the tech 1 old schools look, and the shizzle of the wheels!

Theres no rule in the handbook that says, a car with wires must also have hydraulics...

If this is true, then it must also be true in reverse, that a car with hydrulics must also have wires,...

But in LA, (the land of lowriders) all the little Mazda pickups with hydraulics that the latinos love, hardly ever have wires....

nope, there's no rules. Just opinions. My opinion is that wire wheels belong on lowriders. (I also think an e30 cab would make a great lowrider)

Minitrucks have wires quite often but tend to go for billet cut wheels as a 'rule'.

I respect everyones opinions, as they say, the world would be a boring place if everyone liked the same thing...

But the bit i dont get is that you say you think an E30 Cab would make a great lowrider, & in your opinion wire wheels belong on a lowrider, but your also saying that here they are on the wrong car...lol last time i checked my car was an E30 cab!

Low cars aren't lowriders.

Lowriders have wire wheels, HYDRAULICS, 4" shag headliners, fluffy dashboards, button tuck velour interiors, chain link 8" steering wheels... etc.
