Had a mate who's pretty handy with a camera take some pics of the new paint last night.

Its far from a perfect finish, but I cant complain, it cost me £25 quid and took a day. Need to re-do the boot as the filler where the badge was has absorbed the paint and shows up loads. Weirdly, the one on the bonnet hasnt

Anyway, enjoy.

















The sidelights aren't blue by the way, they're white led ones but my camera bloke used some odd camera settings to stop the ceiling lights looking yellow and it made my sidelights look council blue.

If you dont like it, feel free to say so, and I will feel free to tell you to p*ss off back to polishing your bbs.

A quick wet sand and polish up and it will look great.

At some point I may get round to giving it the finishing touches and getting rid of the patchyness, but cant be arsed now, too many other things to do.

Its a great lazy mans paint job, no more waxing, polishing etc, just wash it down with soapy water and away you go.

Chris - Cheers chap, The guy's not too bad with the camera, got about 20 more, some really good ones of it in the rain but he's gone out before uploading them.

oakey - The exhaust already makes little children cry if I gun it.

Fuzzy - Tints are on tne list, somewhere after making it run right and fitting my all black deep dish wheels.

Hammo - I may get one of those 'helmuts' that bikers wear, the ones with the spike on the top....

Munky that looks f***in evil mate, Get some smoked hellas up front and maybe some dark tints on the windows and it will be even better, But looks cool as it is though.

Oh and forgot to say get some black reg plates aswell.

Munky, good effort on the car its a proper tramp drifter now.

the stripe is nice and suttle and it works. will look even better once you get the limo tints done.

good effort on the paint job though.

Tints and smoked lights, along with all black borbet a's are on the cards. Watch this space.

Nah, it does look really good, i was curious about the finish u would get with rattle cans but it looks like it has turned out nice. The stripe really sets it off as well, real subtle.

To be honest, at certain angles the paint does look a bit patchy but I'm not that fussed. Adds to the character.... honest.

It was a panasonic lumix semi-slr iirc, no idea what settings he used.

Most of the shots were done with a 6 second exposure. If you look in the background of one of them, it looks like daylight outside the car park but it was night-time.
