cheers mate, i fancy changing the seats for leather ones and the stripe might get removed we'll see, firstly though im putting it in to get professionally polished using a buffer to see if it gets rid of the pinkness, and the wheels need refurbed too, but im generally happy with performance and looks for the moment.

the car has been lowered by a previous owner, for now im going to concentrate on getting the car up to standard and getting rid of a few teething problems, then i'll probably look to get more power out of her.
cheers for all the welcomes everyone. :D

the wheels are 15" and they do have centre caps but all have frosted over so you cant see the bmw badge on them very clearly the rears arent fitted in the pics, they are in the boot at the mo.
by the way i forgot to mention the tool box in the boot is about 95% complete, been told this is rare to see.

Lovely lookin car m8. Pretty sure they are MIMS wheels. Some of the best wheels an E30 can sit on IMHO. Any info you need just ask. Ive found the people on here to be generally very helpful and a friendly bunch.lol.

aye, the rear is lower than the front but i think it looks quite cool like that although on a perfectly flat piece of road the difference is not that much.

Nice motor, especially at that price. Im in a minority but i like the stripe, its very period imo. Back in the 80's it was not considered chav to stripe a fast car.

i quite like the stripe too, i think i'll keep it as it adds a bit more of an 80's look to the car.
the car at some point was owned by a member of the bmw car club great britain as there is a sticker in the back window.

Welcome to the Zone.

Nice looking motor. The wheels are MIM Rafino's if my memory serves me right.

Black with polished rims would look good with your black bonnet and chrome windows.

that sounds interesting, i'll have to make my mind up as the body needs attention and then it'll need resprayed.
im seriously considering going down the matt black route and will maybe try a few things on photoshop and see how it looks

If the red is up to it, it'll contrast well with the black. A respray is pretty drastic, it doesn't look that bad from the pics?
