I think that bumper thing is pretty neat! i would only use it for motorways, dont bother me if it looks rediculous, no ones really looking at the front of your car any way, not if you drive like me

Where can i get one?

Germany.

Though if you can't buy it off the shelf some people get leather unholsteres to custom make them, not cheap tho!

StevieC was selling a bonnet bra recently. I think it went for about £90 odd on Egay.

I do think they look a bit Hannibal Lecterish, not sure I'd put one on.

Nice car, proper low though...

I like it.

A car with loads of stone chips on the front looks $hit, if i had a stunning paint job on my motor i would use a bra on it who gives a F*@K what it looks like not as if its welded on there forever it comes off at shows!!

Who cares how it looks if it works? Imagine having a expensive paintjob which is mint and you had to do a long journey. Would you ratther get loads of stone chips on your bumper and bonnet or would you rather look silly for the journey and save yourself a fortune in respray money :?

Nice car mate. I saw it at the Ace on Monday. Paint looked mint

Forgot to mention the leather bondage, thing winkeye

Seen these before and tbh, their there to serve a purpose....weather it looks pants or not is irrelevant...

I would use one, if it meant saving the front end from stone chips...

A little cheaper in the long run, but if you got the cash, then dash the mo'fo>>

Sarah's new E30 will be getting one for those long journeys if she lets me put one on it - when we had the front of the Baur repainted, there was a million and one tiny chips in it after 6 months of driving 'grrr' - wise i'd invested in one way back now!!

why do people feel the need to pass comment
on peoples cars even if they are not asking for it.

I mean if Raj came on here asking for opinions
then feel free to give them
but to sit there slating what he has done is out of order.

I saw this car at the Ace
and it looks fantastic even with the bra (I personally like them)

I would sooner pay £150 for one of these
than several hundred every 6 months getting the front re-painted
I for one use my car as a daily drive and like to keep it
clean and tidy
its not tucked up in a warm garage with a blanket over it until
summer/show time

I really like the bonnet bra's. I'd probably never take it off, just end up fumbling around and giving up..... Well that's my usual experience with bra's

If that was the case then there will be no thread. It would be neils post then nothing after it. Whats the point of that?

Seems like a 50/50 opinion on the gimp suit though. :)

not true Jon

other people have said they like them

not only that rather than saying what the fuck is that on the front
we all know what it is

so how about

"nice car Raj
bra is not my cup of tea though"

sounds better than that car looks ridiculous

if I dont like someones car I dont post

I actually didnt know what a bonnet bra was, iv never seen one!

I didnt say the car looked ridiculous, i actually said i liked the car, just not the bra thing, which yes, does look ridiculous IMO

No offense but why have pics posted up if you dont want peoples honest opinions?

Id rather be shot down in flames if something i put on my car looks crap, then il reconsider it but i guess thats just me :?

Like i said, no offense to anyone intended

thats fair enough Ben

I am not having a go at anybody directly
it just gets my goat when people come out with things
that the owner could take offence to

its like if you was at the Ace with your M3
and some nobody comes over and says
your wheels are really shit
but the rest of the car is nice

I am sure you would be a little pissed

d'you know where I am coming from

I also don't post if I don't like what has been done to a car.

But there's one thing that I really don't understand.

If this bra-thing is just to protect the front, and you don't care if it looks good or not, WHY ARE THE PICTURES TAKEN WITH THE BRA FITTED?
