cheers all for info on the motor, with it being my 1st bm i needed to know the deal on her, planning on geting white leathers for it. will soon post some pics with top down. whats the view on getting a 2.5 lump for it? will i have to replace all drive train etc? have been able to source a decently priced 1998 m3 engine which wud go like a beast, if it wud go in. i mean dont get me wrong these e30's are powerful and the straight six roar is addictive, to me and to the petrol station but i want more power! got a stripped out 106 1.1i with far better 0-60.

but all that said!! u cant beat getting ur arse out ay!!!! tommy

Convert to 2.5 = 2.5 engine + g/box, 2.5 prop - fit it all and it's go, go, go - easy as that

Looks a bit daft with just one chrome bumper !!

Take the M badge off end then enjoy some roof down motoring.

Get a new chrome rear bumper + tec 1 rear skirt, add the tec 1 boot spoiler and she'll be looking swwwwwweeeet.

The look is broken if you get what i mean between a 'pre' front and a 'post' rear but never the less, congrats on buying your first e30 - thoughs tec 1 cabby side skirts,,,,,,,,,,,,worth their weight in "GOLD" fella.

Agree with you there Nelly. Also you need to lose the silly Mpower things that are stuck on it, also the Alpina sign. It would look a nice E30 then. Some standerd rear lights would'nt go a miss aswell.

got a rear tech 2 boot spoiler to go on it, just need painting tho i do like the standard rubber lick on the back so may part with it, unsure yet. as for the rear lights, the cyrstal euro lights came with the car but i also have the standard ones for a diff vibe if needed. i see what u mean about the rear when i got it i cudnt decide wat it was that needed doing to it, wheather it was a diff bumper need or to drop it some more. tho decking it more will i think make it undriveable as it looks slammed when i have company in the rear anway! but iam looking forward to my 1st pull over by mr plod when he asks me if this is my car. fucking too rite! and iam only 20!! get the revs up and flick out that rear fellas!!!! :D

It looks nice... but everyone is right about the rear bumper... get a chrome one on there with a Tech1 skirt to match the rest. There's a mint rear chrome bumper in the breakers in Caistor which is close to me... just a matter of 4 bolts and it's off!

It's a bit like a Mk2 Golf having a small front bumper and a big-bumper on the back. Just looks strange.

Hope you enjoy E30 ownership though!
