Car is a 1991 318is, US model, diamond black and originally had black vinyl, but switched to pearl. This was my first car, and I've had it since I was 15. The M42 lump was pulled out in Fall of '03 to swap in a custom built M50.

Motor:
2,5 M50 block bored to 86mm, 3liter M3 crank, pistons, rods.
M52 head with M3 camshafts, late-model lightweight valvetrain, heavy porting and valve pocket work, 5-angle valve job, head milled for 10.8:1 c/r, fully balanced/bp
Euro M3 HFM, K&N filter, BMW NA Jim Blair computer chip, adj. FPR (58psi), 3.2 SS manifolds to E36 downpipes and custom exhaust

E30 325 Getrag trans, 325 driveshaft and big-case 3.73 LSD.
Ireland Eng. Springs, Bilstein Sports, ST front/stock rear swaybars, M3 CA bushes, M3 rack, M3 rear subframe, stock brakes w/Axxis pads/ss lines

The car has over 260,000 miles on it, has been wrecked by previous owners (and poorly repaired), paint in general is in pretty bad condition. Lots of time on the highways means lots of rock chips. I do what I can to make the car look good, but it's seen better days..

Motor puts down 234hp/212tq on the dynomometer, shy of a Euro 3.0...but not by too far. :)
