Beautiful car. I always wanted an Alpina 2.7, but was afraid of the running costs. If I may speak openly.... Loose the angel eyes and the rear lights. Alpina's are not to be altered cosmetically. Keep it as straight as you can.

Lovely machine. Gotta ditch the rear lights at the very least though. They're a right pain in the back side! lol - get it...? Oh, sometimes I kill myself...

Anyway, apart from the 'personal taste' lights, it looks like a bloody sweet car fella.

Dude, DUMP the rear lights man.... and side skirts, alpina should look like a sheep in wolves clothings...im sure your getting the picture.. i have an alpina E21 and shoved a 2.7 in the bay and took out the 2.3/2.5 lump, which now sits on an engine stand in my garage as a show master piece, bear in mind its the german build C1 2.3 NOT sytners clone.

Nice car....

I understand, the old headlights were to dull at night pre epsiloid and ive never liked the pre-face lift tail lights either now ive fitted crystals rear and angel eyes there much brighter and freshen the look up.
By the way ive still got the old tail lights, indicators and headlights if i ever decide to sell it to someone like yourself.

As far as running costs go, Yes it is thirsty, but its a toy and only comes out to play once in a while its a 5th car and ive done 800 miles in it in the last 2 years.
She gets started and left to idle until its up to temperature every other week.

It always puts a smile on my face when ever i take her out and its nice to know ive got one in the garage, as ive always wanted one since i was a nipper. Aswell as an E30 M3 evo and a Z1 but ill have to keep saving for them plus ive got the other half saying "What do you want another car for you dont use the ones youv'e got" and i say cos i can. Ha Ha Ha

The side skirts were on it when i bought it.
Dont like M-tec 1, but i was thinking of putting on some skirts like whats on the E30 touring but painted as the ones fitted look like they have shrunk?

Dude, that car is mint, Dont like the rear lamps at all, but its your car, paint it pink if you want to.

Please bear in mind though, most zoners like to see stock as a rock rarities like the C2, any further mods will ruin it ~IMHO, and the existing skirts are period correct, the touring items would fit but removal of the Metzler ones you have now will leave holes in the wheelarches the touring skirts will not hide

If you read your BMW manual it states that the car should not be left to idle while warming up.

Lovely motor.

Rear lights are plain wrong and make it look Chav

Also if you've only done 800miles in the last 2yrs surely front light output shouldnt be too much of an issue.

Only 2 things i have negative to say

Leave the skirts etc as is

Your right front light output isnt an issue anymore.
