love the kettle in the foot well mate. doesn't look too bad, most of those bits can be cut out and replaced fairly easily i imagine. other than that it looks pretty solid. can't wait to see more when it progresses :cool:

Glad to see you have the main tool, the kettle, always makes a job easier! I have a similar job on at the moment, Malacite green betty. Loads of work, but its got to be worth it in the end! Regular updates?

It seems to me that your car is almost new if compared to my car what it was 8 months ago. Here are some pics.

Now all the rust has been cut out and rewelded. And after that all the car has been respreyed. Last week the engine was taken out and this week the engine bay should be resprayed and soon the 3,5 litre lump will be installed :)
P.S. My car was in a "good" condition, here in Latvia most of e30's are in much worse condition :(

How old is that car? That chassis-rust problem are worse than on my 316 -83. Keep up the good work! :D

You can still get the scuttle panel for beneath the windscreen from the dealers approx Ԛ£35 + vat,Keith
