Hi Guys,

Today i was lucky enough to drive sunnyM3's Evo 2

What can i say, its an awesome car! It has the carbon airbox & alpha-N setup which makes such a difference its unreal.

TBH i cant believe this car has not sold already, its a steal at 11k. The schnitzer parts alone must be worth 3k if sold on their own and you all know that a carbon airbox with alpha-N is mega money.

I had a really good look around the car and there is NO rust and it is in fantastic condition.

The history file is the size of a small house!

If anyone is looking to buy an M3 this one should be at the top of the list, i cant think of any other cars at this price range that are as tidy as this one.

If i thought my M3 would fetch the sort of money id want for it i would be buying this car - no question!

Just a final note, i have no connection with SunnyM3 in any way, we live close by and met at the last ace meet. He asked me to come over and see the car and to take some pics. This post is 100% my honest view of the car.

Nice car! Ben how is it compared to yours?
Im assuming you mean the cecotto?

Different and the same, the engine roar is amazing, you could never get tired of it! The other noticable difference is in low down pull and drivability. It also has the short shift which is great and i will be fitting one this weekend.

It dosent really feel any more powerful, just smoother on the power. Grip levels are amazing because of the semi slicks and the smaller steering wheel gives better feedback. The suspension is really good, not too hard and not too soft (mine is too hard but it will now be changed)

It has the same minor irritations that mine does, the interior rattles a bit and the engine ticks but these things are normal for M3's

Fingers crossed when im done with uni il be able to get mine to the standard of sunnys, all the mods he has done are now on my list including the uber racing tyres :D

To get mine (or any) decent standard M3 to this level woud require -

Uprated brakes with braided hoses
Very good suspension setup
Shortshift
Polybushing the whole car
Alpha N & carbon box
Smaller steering wheel
Track tyres
Uprated exhaust

This is assuming the base car has already had a recent engine rebuild and is in decent condition

Its a lot of money but worth it!

Well £110 a corner for my size and they are road legal with a medium/soft compound which yields just insane levels of grip........yes please!

Thats the impression i got driving this car, grip levels are amazing for road legal tyres. Nowhere slick levels but for a road car they are perfect.

Any idea what they are like in the wet?

I really dont know how they are in the wet! But TBH i dont drive my car at stupid speeds in the wet because its just not safe! So it would not really bother me if they were a tad too loose.

Just need to get uprated engine mounts before i get these tyres.

I would ask sunny but he never takes the car out if the weathers not 100% perfect.

What colour interior do you have in your Cecotto, I think the Cecotto darker spec is probably the best interior you can get in an E30 M3. It even passed through my mind to get hold of the covers for my Evo2, but then everyone in the know would think it was not an Evo2 but a Cecotto.

But once My Evo2 is finished probably end Sept, early Nov. Its going up for sale too. It will also be a minter (currently undergoing a full body re-furb)

Also, the SE is about to have the engine and g/box removed. The engine is having a crank swop and re-map, the g/box is being overhauled. So you won't find a nicer Sport Evo once thats done, and yes it will be up for sale when complete too, but not for peanuts. winkeye
E30 M3 Unichip Alpha N style conversions, this is the ultimate for extracting the best out of your S14 M power car.
Also, Live mapping of your Standard Motronic ECU for optimising all your modifications.

My Cecotto has grey leather with a grey dashboard. IMO the only interior thats better is the sport evo. The engine has been out and completely rebuilt once and will be done again in October. Iv got no intention of selling the car unless i can find a better E30 M3 for reasonable money.

Your Evo 2 sounds like it will be a nice car when its done!

Im gutted i cant buy Sunny's car because all the mods i have in mind for my Cecotto have already been done to this evo 2. Buying it would actually save me money on doing the mods myself!

How come your selling both of your M3's?
