I might try to come to the Slough meet to see my old ride then....Lakeside is 1.5 hours from you? It's worth the trip! It's about the same distance for me!

Your lights look smart, the orange part will never look as red as the brakes/fogs, but it looks good.

Good good.

I sold it when I came to Uni, because it wouldn't get looked after properly down here. It used to live in the garage under cover, and used at the weekend, while I drove a Nova to work during the week.

I didn't want to let it sit out in the rain and so on so it was best to sell.

I got caught speeding in it too!

It was properly looked after you know, Full BMW Service History!

How many miles has she done now?

Any news on the car?

I really wanna see it!!

I was down in Brighton at Uni while the car was for sale, so my Dad was doing the selling...He phoned me and told me he sold it, and I was so gutted.

He got a bargain too. My Dad wanted rid too quickly.

whoohooo

hey dave im the guy who bought it from your dad on 31st november 2002 at 12pm we picked it up, bought from cambridge from your dad, i first saw the pic on the old zone and thought thats my car, wow i instantly recognised the pics because i still remember the autotrader picture from the net advert you guys put on!

the lights sorry to say i sold them like last summer some time, wanted like a fresh look dont know why know because i want to get hold of some for defo.

i was thining hey how was you the owner its was regsistered to a woman mrs sally __ ______, royston, your mum i presume?

interiior the same sos the engine, got the strut brace from roy (CA) erm that about it, the wheels borbet A 9j all round wid 15mm spacers, rear arch had to roll them, plus the subframe bushes need doing this summer and the left rear arch is slight rotten gonna do that to. the bonnet is debadged gonna to the rear to, euro styleee. got somked front hella and front and side indicator.

did you not recognise the indicators you bought from me? they were your old ones.

milage is 145500 about ish now (bought it on 121000!), but all good dave,

yes i agree dave was a very good owner, bmw stamps, recipets to from previous owner in richmond, thats close to me to, but sad to say i have been servicing the oil and filter my self (cheaper) and my uncle if required doing the harder jobst, so no stamps after dave

every other day from my area, compliments come and come all day long, offers to how much, one bloke even goes "swap for a vr6" lol i said naa ure alright heheh, still makes me smille :D

dats all really,

I don't really want 9" at the front was just thinking of having them at the back and sticking with 7 1/2 at the front.

Will see how things go after the bodywork is sorted.

Yeah, was registered in my Mums name for insurance purposes....she didn't drive it once!!

Hahahahah.....had no idea.....coincidence...
nadz325i wrote: milage is 145500 about ish now (bought it on 121000!), but all good dave,
Seeing as it's been so well looked after, it will go for ages!!

I'm pretty suprised about the arches, they were perfect when I had it. Always used to clean any salt/sh1t from under there....was it after they were rolled?? :? :)

Must see it soon.....it'll be pretty odd though!!

Glad you're enjoying it!

What that I was overwhelmed!?

Was a bit, this car was my baby!! Loved it, had some great times in that car. Was so gutted to see it go. At least it's still alive and kicking. I'll buy it back in a couple of years for a full restoration! :D

Your cab is well sweet. The wheels do suit it.

It probably is 40 at the back, but cos the front looks so low, it makes the back look a bit higher....still looks very nice! :D

hey dave
the inner rear arch is not baad baad just like a lil rust patch, i found only couple of weeks ago, i applied some waxoyl, so shuold save it till i get it fixed,

the outer arch had one dot of a bubble, but all that gonna be sorted in summer, proper rub scrub down and stuff and nicely spray the arch proper.

restoration wise gonna do all jacking points (rear are with the subframe)
renew bushes,
some uprated suspension 60/40 h&R? eibach roll bars?, eurooo

but all good, wash it once a week at least, megs range superbbbb,

borbet A each to there own i guess,
i do like the bbs to, i did at one time refurb the bbs to black centers and diamond cut lip (no pics  wish i took some) they looked koool to.

if anybody wondering why those wheel im aiming for this look
Image

minus those wheels.

heres a pic but not those side skits, going to keep the kit untouched.

Image

thinking of sellng her??,,, no wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy dude sorry, she mineeee hehehehe, offers come from all over my end lol,
