Well seeing as I haven't posted any pics on the new forum, I thought I'd treat you all!

Engine: Boggo 2.0 that's still schmoove as you like, sounds great, & drinks more oil than petrol thanks to the dead stem seals!

Suspension: 60/40 drop (I think!)

Brakes: Standard

Wheels & Tyres: 15" TSW cross-spokes, P6000s

Exterior: Mtech-1 Rear Spoiler, Essential Zone sticker!

Interior: Beige sport trim inc RHR, original dark grey carpet, & some of the old black trim bits to tie it all together. Mtech-1 Steering wheel.

ICE: Some! Sounds good to me, but not gone crazy...

Performance: Not too bad!

Future Plans: Replacement 2.0 lump ASAP, then it'll become my second car sometime later in the year, when an engine conversion (2.7? 3.5?) may be on the cards... Mtech-1 kit, or possibly keep the sleeper look.

Looking good Jon.

Looks even better with those MIMs, they're the same as my ones.

I'll let you know when my brother gets some new wheels for his Golf.

I'm not sure about the kit... I'll have to think about that in more detail when the time comes, but I still like it as it is - & I love sleepers! & I'm definately not sure about "one of the finest" either - 22 year old paint kinda doesn't help!

i can't help it jon i just like your car. i assumed that you'd paint it when the kit goes on. following you away from the 'airstrip' meet tells me there's not much wrong with it - no smoke and very difficult to keep up!

Good effort on the photoshop!!

You'll be the first to know, I think my bro's hanging on to them for a while until he can afford to get some new ones but as soon as he decides to get rid I'll let you know.

Yeah, assuming I do go for an engine conversion, I guess I'll have to admit I'm spending money on it & get a respray too! Managed to avoid spending much so far though :D lol
& It'd stay chrome & "orange", I think... it's different & I like it whatever anyone else says :P

It certainly goes fine, but the smoke's just weird; sometimes it does it loads, but I guess it was just well warmed up after that meet... so I know what to do when I take it for the MOT! Still, new engine'll sort that anyway, problem is the MOT's a bit soon though... :?
