OK Im a newbie as such, that is I havent posted much but here's my motor that I picked at weekend.

1989 320i SE
SPEC: STANDARD
PLANS: RESPRAY TIDY UP BODYWORK, MINT THE WHEELS (CENTRE CAPS), LOWER IT, SMOKE LIGHTS WINDOWS, MAKE IT VERY DARK AND THEN ENJOY IT.

1st job is to sort out the coolant leak @ the throttle body plate, you see the blue fuzz in the last pic?

check the oil breather pipe in that area too, theres a lot of oil staining in th vicinity splits there will cause an air leak which can prove to be v annoying

Yup no worries, there is deffinately a water leak, couple of oil leaks, nothing major, but all will be done wlong with the mods before it hits the road, was going to recon engine 175,000 but there is no smoke AT ALL, solid as sin these motors, forgot just how solid!
