I think there still could be some hope.
Before the 2020 MOT test, which only had one advisory about underbody underseal, the previous test was in 2007. I would presume that someone would have had to do a fair bit of work and invested some money to get it back on the road at that point.
On passing the 2020 test the owner didn’t tax it, which is interesting. There’s no logbook change since 2006, so it might be with the same owner or with a trader.
As it’s not been presented for another test and found to be terminally corroded etc. you should gain a little hope from that too I guess.
Fingers crossed it’s lurking in a lockup or driveway somewhere.

It was without an MOT for years and then suddenly it had one in 2020 with around the same mileage as the last one with minor advisories. That says it was exhumed and MOT'd.
