Hi all,
new member, new car! Picked this up the other week and really pleased with it,planning on keeping it as original as possible,my previous ride was an E21 which I did the usual lowering, alloys etc but to be honest driving a lowered car of any description where I live is a huge pain in the arse due to the usual speed cushions/bumps.
So this is going to remain as is on its steel wheels.
Hopefully see some of you around at meets.

Very, very sweet looking E30. A nice Chromie is a rare commodity now. I like the steels.

Manual/Auto?

Welcome to the Zone! Lovely looking car - how many miles? My first E30 was a 1984 B-reg 320i 4-door in Henna Red; not quite as nice as yours though.

320i autos were popular retirement cars meaning a large number were comprehensively looked after and pampered. Mine was much the same.

That looks fantastic. Totally agree with the keep as is approach.

Funnily enough I was saying the other day I drive to and from work everyday in an S line Audi A3 and the ride on that drives me to distraction sometimes. Especially as it's mostly country lanes.

Perhaps it's because I'm 32 in November but I've had enough of lowered cars on big wheels. Even in OEM form like the Audi. They just don't drive anything like as nice they look. :(

Edit: Should say massive wheels with rubber band tyres don't look nice either. The steels look just right with the chrome.
