A little update to show what ive been upto today. I received a email last week informing me that the unit i store my e30 in is to be sold and I have to be out by end of may so need to use my time wisely... this has kicked me uo the arse to get some bits done that have been niggling me, firstly as afew of you know I blew my m20b28 up last summer so ive been fitting a temporary m20b25 in over winter as and when time allows, so last week I finished plumbing the engine up and she fired up and ran great, I also picked up some 16" compomotive th mono alloys buzzing about this as ive wanted some for ages (theyve gone for referb)
Today-
One bug of mine was when I got all the parts powder coated two year back the powder coater did my rear arms blue insted of black.... I was in to much of a rush to get it finished so tuned a blind eye to it, well.... I went up at 10am and pulled the beam off... again. I found that the powder coating is peeling off the rear beam and arms so ive taken them for blasting again and im 2k painting them. Im also replacing the tired braided brake lines and brake lines front to back, painting my diff black instead of red and undersealing the car. So here are some pics so far. More next week when im back home

Great pics and great colour, I'll use these for reference for the underside of mine once it's in its new garage.

Surprising what you get done under a bit of pressure, I treat it like a regular working day!

Similar registration to my first E30, G667BLR, an alpine white 316i. Poverty spec but felt like a Rolls Royce in comparison to the Peugeot 205 it replaced.

Cheers mate. I used hammerite stone chip shutz , overpaintable one though, it drys hard so is easy to clean the one with added waxoil has a slight sticky rubbery finish and looks horrid before long, I used it through my schutz gun on my compressor

Yes its got a custom ashley competition exhaust its a single system front to back rather than the twin so needed the exhaust mounts and back panel adjusting to suit, the cut out on the back panel is further towards the center

That obvious is it haha  haha yeh Im a big fan of motorsport type cars, I looked at afew different exhausts but the stwin stainless are so heavy, and id been pulled afew times for noise with my old scorpion so gave a old friend at ashly a call with my specs, decibels needed to be under 90 and I needed it as straight as posible with no restrictions and 3 inch bore to match with the engine thats going in and he made it at a bargain price of £240! Cant beat that

FYI, that coupling is on the wrong way, the arrows have to point to the flange they are bolted to.
