I love cavaliers, just sold my v6 with full turbo exterior and interior, I loved that car. it ran 185bhp completely standard last year too - an underestimated car, those!!
This is on 169k, does not have full history, just part but includes timing belt and the important stuff, and has very very early bubbles on the very lip of the front arches, you can barely see it. the rest of it is pretty immaculate, I know the guy that gave it a full respray 2 years ago, so I know the shell is good (and i inspected it offcourse). front arches have been rubbing when the car was too low and thus instigated the early rust I think.... again, its minor and front wings are easy to replace if it does get any worse!
I paid a fair bit below their market rate, but probably reflects the above to be fair.
Cheers guys. Im currently looking for a guide on resetting the trip computer as I disconnected the battery before doing the valves and now the trip comp says kilometers etc...

get a biro and you press the button in on the computer, you can then flick it through american MPG, UK mpg and the euro consumption. My cousin is a cavalier freak! More of a Mk2 pervert, hates bmws because they're awsome

yes, THAT moment. Me and a group of friends are supposed to be making it to one of the English meets for the legends super touring event, involving the cavaliers, Volvo's, primera's, laguna's etc etc. I live right next to Knockhill which is on the series, but rather make a trip further afield.
Regarding Cavaliers....yes, its a must own to understand thing. Honestly epic motors, better than the ford equivalents but for some reason the RS scene commands WAAAAY more cash. Its a strange thing.
Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate it. I need a decent bonnet this one is presentable but a couple of small dings and past its best paint. It drives really well and quicker than I expected as people seem to talk their performance down. I had a 2.8 vr6 converted mk2 golf gti before this and it doesn't 'feel' like there is much in it...the golf was properly quick too.
