There's a guy on here selling 5 x Alpina 16" wheels for £750. Given your budget seems to have some slack, suggest you buy these. They are the shizzle.Riz325is wrote:Noted!SHAKEELE30 wrote:a definate NOO, find some genuine 16" ones, please dont get the 17 reps, thats just going to ruin it...
I would've recommended you buy Magpie's exotic and super rare RG Alpina reps (16") but the queue for them is getting long.

It'll be stripped by Thursday! Pics to follow mate. Got a mate in Cheshire who's going to strip the interior and detail the car in and out including the chassis etc.
Lets see what he finds!!!!
I've told him I want 'before and after' pics

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

That's the only problem with buying whilst out of the Country mate...took a chance. My 2 BMW 'experts' say the car looks original...and I trust their opinion, we'll find out next week when the stripping begins...magpie wrote:i hope you don't find any horrors lurking, the pics and detailed description all look/sound good .

looking original and being worth 5 bags are different things, as above look through this, youl only know the real extent if its worth the cash when the carpets and kit are removed and a real good look under the sealant underneath and inside the arches, hope shes a goodun for ya, this will be interestingRiz325is wrote: That's the only problem with buying whilst out of the Country mate...took a chance. I'm really liking the positive messages going to the buyer. 6 months back this thread would've been littered with all sorts of negative jive that the car would be rotten and will fall to pieces if used.
The primary reason it's not as this appears to be a well sorted car and wasn't cheap.
Let's hope we've stopped chasing newbies away.

There are, of course, some hardened cynics who may never be able to recover (especially whilst fragging quattroporte sh*tters).pacerpete wrote:Topblag wrote:I'm really liking the positive messages going to the buyer. 6 months back this thread would've been littered with all sorts of negative jive that the car would be rotten and will fall to pieces if used.
