Bought it a couple of weeks ago needing some tlc but in generally decent order,

Got it home removed the headlight eyebrows and painted the grill, replaced the diff as it was knackered and added de-chrome tape, also gave it a polish fitted new gearknob, seats and steering wheel I had knocking about

Brought a set of 15" BBS wheels to get those god awful multi spokes off it

Image

Then got these...

Image

Got them fitted and slapped the wheels on

The ride height on the rear looks ok in this photo as I had my old wheels in the boot still weighing it down, but as I dropped tyre size to 195/50's something had to be done.

So today after fitting my new 'blue' temp sender and intake boot I removed the rear spring pads and chopped 1 coil off the -40mm lowering springs it already had on there (I'm looking into replacing the whole lot with a decent shock & spring set next month)

I plan on getting an IS front splitter, some centre caps and adding some SE side , should be looking a little like this one soon...(with luck and machine polish!)

Image

All other plans are mechanical work replacing bushes, covert to E36/Z3 steering rack, exhaust etc I'm not going to bother swapping out the engine maybe just a chip

I have a sport/black headlining but more than likely just sell it on I got it cheap within a deal with the sport seats.

Few more pictures...

I have an IS lip spoiler that needs a lick of paint which I'm going to fit in the next couple of weeks then the mot is due, I'm sure it'll pass with flying colour's.

Going up for sale next month once I stick on a fresh mot. Need an estate as have another kid on the way in May. And along with my 7 year old and my dog its not the best of family cars lol.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Right well got my genuine IS front lip spoiler fitted this afternoon, might have to steer clear of speed bumps!

I painted it black for now untill I get the SE skirts fitted then I'll choose if I want to keep them black or colour code and get the bumper/mirrors and rear spoiler done at the same time.

I also gave my inlet and rocker cover a quick spray as it was looking a little shabby.

I got the badge from here:

http://www.detailhaus.com/GERMANY.html

About £7ish and took a couple of weeks to turn up.

IS makes loads of difference to the whole look of the car, I love the look now

It doesn't photograph very well in black tho
