Better just to repair the front corners without replacing the jacking points as its them that cause the issue .

yep doing everything myself even the painting!! been doing this since i was wee, the racing pumas one ive done aswell

na it will be less noticable than replacing a whole panel

al throw up some more pics

was that a full back panel you cut down or can you just get the lower half?

it does!! :D

yep had to buy a full back panel just for that lower section....its just a heck of alot easier and neater than making one, had to fab in a section for the number plate lights too, didnt change the panel cause i want it to look as origional as possible (body wise anyway)

plodding away with the bm ever so slowly

got all the filler work done, had to filler the rear arches as i distorted them doing the inners...origional outers anyway

scuttle is solid

arches got a good few coats around the edges

welded a section in for the rear number plate lights...its actually joint along that edge.. i dont mean the lip!

floor needed doing although it looked ok

my mate had a e34 so i nabbed this off it

flat surround on these ones so i had to get the hammers out
cut out the bad bit

so next hit is to clear out the car and paint inside the floor and the boot for starters...getting there

the rs2000 is a 340 horse cosworth my brother built from a rot box

prep'd boot and inside so ended up with this once i painted it
