Here's my E30 convertible that I bought earlier in the year. Always wanted one, and pleased to say that it's as fun as I thought it would be. Keep the sunny days coming....

Love the zone

Looking real well there Dude. :thumb:
Someone got carried away with the spec sheet....... And the paint's like a mirror - is it Gloss Black?? (looks too dark to be Diamond)
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

What a motor!!! :D Lovely looking car. Is it standard at all?? Is that a cheeky exhast on there? When i had my H26 you guys all thought it was ox-blood interior and so did I, but it turns out its called "Crimson Red".

BMW told me that from my build sheet.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

The car is actually an Alpina C2.5 converted from new by Sytner Nottingham. It was run as a demonstrator. The 2.7 badges were on the car when I bought it. Have looked into getting the C2.5 badges for the car but no luck apart from replicas. Even the replicas appear to be cԚ£45 each.

I have the original receipts for the car. The work Sytner carried out included ECU, cam, suspension, wheels, exhaust, trim bits, badges etc. 2 pages of receipt. Just shy of Ԛ£7k for the conversion in 1990!

The colour is Schwartz Black with Crimson leather. The car has been resprayed at some time hence the mirror finish. A good job done though.

As for the next bits and pieces - I am thinking about new suspension (currently a bit low I think) and as pointed out by the neighbours the exhaust is a bit loud. Then again, I only use it at weekends so why not make some noise!

Closer pic of interior.

dont worry bout the neighbors.. its part of the idea of a convertable to be able to hear the exhaust a bit more - plus the m20 is a lovely sounding engine

really is a stunning looking vert

That is the nicest E30 cab I've ever seen 8)

The back box looks like a sebring to me, I think they make a nice noise (I have one on the touring) and you probably won't get rid if you find out how much a back box costs!!

I wouldn't know myself, but on first impression it seemed to me like they had been coloured somehow, or they have done a very good job re-trimming it...
