hello,
ive been on here for a while and i taught i better stick up some pics of my sterling silver 316i. I bought the car back in jan 2010 and i have slowly been doing it up,since i have bought it i have bought/done the following,

heres a list of the specs:
bbs 14inch alloys
318i diff,
lowering springs 40/50
front 325i 51mm struts
GtCupline shocks,rear adjustables
mpower clocks
houndstooth recaro interior with rear headrests and ski hatch
Clear front lenses
new ashtray
new windscreen
german plates
tech 2 front fogs with switch
new badges

i have done,
services
bulbs
tires
disc`s,calipers,drums,
new sunroof mechanism,
new boot carpet
cd player
new exhaust gaskets
and welded a crack in the sump winkeye


heres a few pics from when i first bought her and how she is now( some are not lowered and some are)

Future plans are to tidy up some of the surface rust aon the arches and spray the two sides of the car in sterling silver

Looks like a good solid base to start with & your doing all the right things to it.
Would look even better on some nice 15" bbs. :D

15inch bbs are needed :)
plans are to get a tech 2 apron,se side skirts,se spoiler and colour code the bumpers 8)

little update: i have all the arches grinded down, light skim of filler, sanded and primed, just a few spots i still have to rub down and then its ready for the top coat :D

Update:

so i grinded down all the arches, ku-rusted all the fresh metal and gave it a light skim of filler. after i left the filler to harden i gave it and rub with wet and dry sand paper. after i had rubbed it down, i applied another light skim of filler. a final sand and it was ready for for anti-rust primer... ill let the pics to the talking
