Buy another, that's lovely! Just needs 15" BBS

Welcome to the zone!
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

this !!!!

get it 100% mint (ie check and do everything) it looks lovely as it is so replace tired/worn interior/external trim, rusted fittings/screws/clips any and everywhere you can, get everything working 100% and it fully serviced and driving perfect, and get any little bits missing, complete the boot if need be etc with jack, full tool kit, etc etc , and 15" bbs, and if thats genuine 50k with every mot and service book full history etc, then your going to have a lovely car, if you chose to- spend the money on refurbing all suspension and running gear etc and re sealing it, waxoiling cavaties, and making "like new" , and that would be a proper collectors/ show car

Nice looking old bus - doesn't look like it needs much to mint it up.

Ok so im going to sell it once i get the v5 back, i would love to get it mint but don't have time or money :(
Has anyone done any dealing with old colonel cars? Sent them an email with pics yesterday they said £1400 taking into account it needs bumpers and has a scratch on the n/s rear wing.
Is this a good price? Or if anyone's interested come have a look!

I would imagine it will be on their forecourt for £3.5k shortly after taking off your hands.

As you've only just bought it whether its a good price depends whether you paid less than £1400 for it - personally I'd say thats strong money and they might well offer you less when they see it in the flesh.

Good chrome bumpers are hard to find and stupidly expensive new and as we all know getting a good paintjob done is not cheap so if this is what it needs to make it mint then I would say if you can get £1400 bite their hand off.
