Me too and it's a nice honest appraisal of the cars without getting hung up on horsepower, so the E30 wins.

Having never driven in any M-car, I cannot comment. However of all the M3's I would only ever consider buying an E30.

I don't get that hug up on luxuries (that is what my A4 is for), a sports car should be pure and coarse in my opinion.

no its quite old. dug it out to read again the other day actually, great article.

evo is the best car mag imo. they do tend to reward and focus on performance rather than day to day comfort
