Well I picked this up from Marc (Zaust) a few weeks back knowing it needed work as it was looking very sorry for its self.

The car is dolphin grey and all standard apart from a Z3 short shifter (need to get used to this). I drove it back after having a really good chat to Marc (thoroughly nice bloke) 100 miles and it didn't skip a beat, such a nice engine! I think Theo on the zone swapped this months back.

The next day it went in to get all the rust sorted out - Underneath the battery tray - front inner wing - inner arches - front wings being replaced - new passenger door - boot lid (which Marc kindly threw in with the car) and a few more bits. I'm going to get the rear axle beam bushes done as well.

While the car is in the garage I sourced some 15" BBS, they are now sand-blasted and ready to be primed and painted.

Also ordered some Toyo Proxes (205/55/15) for when they are finished.

Hopefully once the body work is done I will have it back so I can start with giving it a service and start to clean the interior.

I'll keep you updated with the progress.
Thanks

this was the one that Andye30nut had secured and circumstances led it to be available again. Good to see it being put back to it's former glory. :D

It's what i thought too, looked a bit like Ian Harrington's place but i'm sure he's moved/retired now.
