Hello all first post here. Just picked up a new toy this weekend :) to replace my sadly departed Opel Manta.. i knew i couldn't be without a fun rwd car for long.

She is lovely, not a bit of rust, pretty much full history and very well looked after. The only deviations from standard are the Mtech-2 rear spoiler and clear indicator lenses (which i don't think are staying).

It is a really fun car to drive, very tidy handler could do with a quicker steering rack but really quite impressive straight out of the box. and a lovely revvy 4-pot.

i've got a few plans... i think we're going to have a lot of fun :)

Nice iS! That last picture really shows how big cars are nowadays. It makes the E30 look really small!

Really nice looking car. Looks like it has a few nice extras, tech 2 wheel, rear spoiler, rear head rests and head light wipers. Does it have a slip diff?

You would be well advised to look behind the mud flaps for the dreaded. If its good there, just make sure it is always cleaned. Mud builds up there and can lead to the dreaded unspoken horror!!!

Looks very nice, thats a tech-1 rear spoiler by the way as we've been recently discussing on another thread they look much better than the tech-2 rear spoiler

Are they 15" wheels?

Not long had my 318is, I have a 325i also but I find the 318is has a charm of its own I find.

Nice iS
Loving the Tech I Spoiler
SE side skirts would finish it off nicely.
Liking the comparison snaps as well....space grey really suits the e90

Here you go, my previous pride and joy. '86 Manta GT/E fitted with an 2.0 16v Vauxhall XE, rolling roaded at 171bhp stripped out weighed just under 1000kg.. went like stink! handled beautifully too with Avo coilovers with track biased spring rates, quick rack and big brakes.

Sadly decided to sell it last year and buy a house, but now i've got the BMW bug, all my Dad's fault it's his E90 and he also has a 1 series and a couple of years ago we had a beautiful E28 520i (pic at the bottom!).
