Perfect mate, in my eyes with your suspension and engine it will be the ultimate E30. But how are you going to manage stripping the 'foam'?Jhonno wrote:Plans are a little undecided..
There is no engine or box, but it is complete other than that, so the plan was strip, put monkey bars in, swap all my goodies over from RLX..
However, it is an Aug '91 shell, originally Sterling Silver, 1 of 18 or something for the year I've been told, comes with immaculate black heated leather and 86k kms on the clock.. It has been laid up for 8yrs, at least. There is the temptation to restore with an S14 etc, but it will never be a numbers matching car, so I don't think it is worth it.. So currently my thinking is still to swap the trinkets from mine over, but put it back to sterling, and cage it, for a track weapon..

Plus more stable at high speeds.Jhonno wrote:I would imagine better steering and brake feel.. Slightly better balance maybe.

It's booked in with Dave for a cage and spray for next month.. Still need to look at his work though?goosiegander wrote:Congratulations Dan -good effort!
Which body shop are you using?
